Description:
The compact Siliphos disposable filter, filled with 840ml of Dupla Siliphos, can be connected to any common filter type. It can also be operated with a feed pump and is compatible with the connection of a downstream osmosis system (to bind any silicate residues present in the permeate). Consistent use of the highly effective, fine-grained filter media Dupla Siliphos ensures that phosphate and silicate levels are kept as low as possible and water values in the aquarium are optimised. Siliphos is suitable for fresh and sea water aquaria and has been used successfully for years in industry, water management, drinking water purification, and sewage treatment. Its highly effective chemical properties, which adsorb large quantities of phosphate and silicates, make it the perfect filter media for the aquarist. Even when the media is depleted, none of the chemical load is returned to the water.
