DuplaRin Mar

Dupla Rin Mar is a high-quality complete feed specially designed for sea water fish. Enriched with beta-glucane made from yeasts and vegetable cell-wall components, it assists the function of the animal's intestinal immune system. This nutrient rich food source provides a high percentage of essential vitamins.  There is a handy 180ml refill pack, as well as the 65ml size pack in the Dupla-designed dispenser.

New silicate/phosphate absorber

Due to the addition of nutrients, zooxanthellae from zooxanthellate corals can proliferate to the extent that they cover the natural colour pigments of the corals. As a result, the corals turn brown. A further indication of increased phosphate and silicate (silicic acid) concentrations is the growth of rather unpleasant red or brown algae which often attach themselves as a grimy layer to the decoration in the aquarium and can endanger the life of various organisms. In modern coral reef aquaria, the phosphate content must not exceed 0.1mg/l. Constantly using the highly effective filter material DuplaMarin Siliphos ensures that phosphates and silicates are kept as low as possible and that the water parameters in the aquarium are optimised. Even when the material is exhausted, the water is kept safe from pollution.

New trace element series

Due to oxidation processes, the addition of ozone or through skimmer use, these essential trace elements are no longer detectable after only 24 hours. A lack of iodine stunts the growth of lower animals and corals and leads to a fading of colours. Strontium is a vital trace element required for the build-up of the hard coral skeleton. Iron is an essential component of the protein ferrodoxin and thus is indispensable for the photosynthesis of algae and symbiosis algae (zooxanthellae). DuplaMarin Iodine 24 with trace amounts of bromine, potassium and fluoride, DuplaMarin Iron 24 with trace amounts of manganese, and DuplaMarin Strontium 24 with trace amounts of molybdenum eliminate deficiencies in the saltwater aquarium and ensure the beautiful growth of lower animals and corals.
